Adult Individual Therapy
At the heart of our practice is a commitment to confidentiality. We understand that trust is vital and we work to ensure that what you share remains private.
Individual therapy sessions for adults are crafted to meet specific, personalized needs and goals. No two people are the same. Your therapist will collaborate with you to strengthen skills and organize strategies to manage the challenges you face, whether it’s stress, anxiety, depression, or any other issue impacting your well-being.
Through therapy, many clients discover greater resilience and healthier coping mechanisms. They learn to navigate life’s difficulties with renewed confidence and create anchored, lasting changes in their lives.
Child Therapy
At our therapy practice, we view child therapy as a collaborative effort, where lasting change is anchored in a supportive partnership with families. Working with children ages 8-13, we recognize that children are not isolated beings but integral parts of their family systems. Our approach involves both the child and their parents or caregivers, ensuring that the strengths and tools developed during therapy are reinforced at home.
In our sessions, the child is the primary client, and the parent/caregiver is the secondary client. We don’t focus on “fixing” children, but rather on partnering with families to explore their natural strengths and build essential tools for thriving. This means that parents/caregivers actively participate in the therapeutic process, learning strategies to support the child’s growth and well-being.
By combining individual child therapy with family therapy, we create a holistic environment where positive changes are more likely to take root and flourish. Only together, can we help your child thrive.
Adolescent Therapy
We recognize the critical period of growth and self-discovery that is inherent in adolescence. Serving ages 14-18, our adolescent therapy sessions are designed to support youth in their journey towards autonomy and healing. This process is best nurtured within a committed family, kin, or community environment, and as such we often pair individual adolescent therapy with quarterly family sessions. Depending on the client’s needs, the frequency of these family sessions can increase or decrease, ensuring a flexible and responsive approach. By integrating family and community support, we create a holistic environment where adolescents can thrive.
Family Therapy
We honor the rich heritage of families and the unique experiences of each member. Family therapy is designed to help families come together, overcome challenges, and build harmonious, resilient home environments. With a personalized approach, we address your family's specific needs, fostering better communication, emotional bonds, and cultural understanding.
Please note that family sessions are billed under one individual, with all records kept in that client's chart throughout the duration of treatment. For assessment purposes, family therapy involves breaking down into individual groups or by roles to ensure a thorough understanding of each family member’s perspective. We acknowledge and respect the racial & cultural contexts that shape each family’s journey.
Couples Therapy
Couples therapy is a supportive and transformative process where two people work together with a trained therapist to improve their relationship. Couples therapy offers a safe and neutral space to connect and grow with your significant other. Potential clients may decide to engage in couples therapy for various reasons, such as wanting to improve communication, rebuild trust, enhance intimacy, or navigate major life transitions together. Engaging in couples therapy is an investment into the health and longevity of your relationship, contributing to personal happiness and well-being. Additionally, strong, supportive relationships positively impact families and communities, making the benefits of therapy extend beyond just your relationship.
While most insurance plans do not cover couples therapy, our office provides an affordable self-pay option through our marriage and family graduate interns. This allows you to access couples therapy without financial strain.

In addition to traditional couples therapy, couples may also consider engaging in our Couples Enrichment Program. This program is led by our certified Traditional Health Workers (THWs) and is designed to enhance relationship skills and overall well-being. Like our therapy sessions, the Couples Enrichment Program is also available as a self-pay service, offering a comprehensive approach to relationship health.
